The Brufut Marathon will clock 25 on January 26th 2019, the day set aside for its annual road race, which started in 1994.
According to the organisers, the run will again feature its traditional components of various categories of runners. The run is also focused on its maiden objectives, to promote marathon and road race as well as raise funds to support the education of needy students among other things.Over the years, hundreds of participants have taken part in the run including both professional and part time runners. The event has also inspired road races across the country. According to the organisers, registration has started for the January event.
