It also has ‘God’s Eye,’ a system that enables the developer to track all activities of the taxi.
“In case any issue, we will know the driver who took the passenger, the time and place where he took the passenger from and destination,” he said.
The app was developed by his company, Kameko, which is specialised in developing software solution for small and large scale enterprises.
Mendy explained the inspiration behind the soft ware program: “I came up with the idea after a lady was beaten up by one taxi driver, and then took all her belongings. I was moved after seeing her condition and I conceived the idea of Ryde Africa App that to provide passengers safe, secure and reliable taxi even at late night.”

She urged Gambians to support the young entrepreneur and use the taxi app for safe and secure rides.
